Announcement

 

The System Council Executive Board met this morning to fill the position of Business Manager vacated by Brother Brian Thompson.

 Effective immediately, the System Council Executive Board has appointed Brother Gary Aleknavich to the position of Business Manager.

 The System Council would like to congratulate Brother Thompson for his appointment to the position of IBEW International Representative for the Fifth District.  Brother Thompson will report to Vice President John Schantzen, out of the Fifth District office in Birmingham, Alabama and will be responsible for servicing the IBEW Local Unions in Northern Florida.

 We would like to take this opportunity to thank Brother Thompson, for his many years of dedicated service in the different positions and capacities he has served within the Council and his own Local Union.  We also wish him well in his new position as he moves forward in representing the Brotherhood. 

There will be a special tribute and recognition reception for Brother Thompson to be held following the Regular System Council meeting on Saturday, July 23^rd.
