This week the Company and Union Negotiating Committees continued discussions with the Power Systems Business Unit.  The majority of the discussions revolved around Distribution proposals that dealt with;

 ·        Callout overtime response.

·        Moving dispatch center boundaries on short notice.

·        Reducing the percentage of people working outside the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays.

·        Defining the type of work that can be done after daylight hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.

 The committees also discussed several job criteria issues which included increasing and changing Clerical Staff, C&D Specialist and Groundworker accountabilities.

 At this time, both Committees have recessed for the weekend. In preparation for next week, the Committees are performing additional research, obtaining additional information and drafting language for the proposals based on our discussions. 

 The tentative schedule for next week includes continued discussions with Distribution and a proposal presentation by Power Delivery.
